Former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Devin Durvernay is reportedly signing with the Chicago Bears, according to FOX NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

This is a one-year deal for Duvernay. As of now, contract details have not been reported.

Prior to free agency starting, the Jaguars releasing Duvernay was one of a handful of roster moves that the team had made under GM James Gladstone. Duvernay still had one year left on his deal, but by releasing him, the Jaguars saved $2.73 million in salary cap space.

Last offseason, Duvernay signed a two-year deal with the Jaguars for $8.5 million under then-GM Trent Baalke.

Duvernay is a two-time Pro Bowler as a return man and was named an All-Pro in 2021, earning those accolades during his time in Baltimore.

With the Jaguars in 2024, Duvernay averaged 25.1 yards per kick return on 14 attempts and 8.8 yards per punt return on 19 attempts, according to PFF. We also saw Parker Washington handled some return duties as well.

On offense, Duvernay saw few opportunities on offense, totaling just 11 receptions on 16 targets for 79 yards.
