Since entering the NFL as a 3rd round pick by the Detroit Lions, former Notre Dame defensive lineman / linebacker Julian Okwara has bounced around the league.
He played for two teams in 2024 after spending the first four seasons with the Lions, playing for the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals. Okwara once again found a new home on Monday, as he signed a contract with the Cleveland Browns.
The contract details are unknown at the moment, but the hope is that he has found a home for more than a few years. Through five seasons in the NFL, Okwara has played in 51 games with 72 tackles, 10 sacks, a forced fumble and recovery along with an interception.
It’s been solid career so far for Okwara, and we wish him nothing but success as he tries to make an impact with the Browns.
