A former third-round pick of the Green Bay Packers caught Johnny Manziel’s first ever touchdown pass in the Canadian Football League. Running back Alex Green, who the Packers made the 96th overall pick in the 2011 draft, hauled in a short score from Manziel, the former Heisman Trophy winner who is now playing for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL. Here’s the play from Saturday’s preseason game in Montreal: Green played only two seasons in Green Bay. He carried 138 times for 475 yards and caught 19 passes for 131 yards over 16 games and four starts between 2011 and 2012.
