Saw this on ESPN. ESPN showed he has been arrested twice for DUI and Darren said he does not have a drinking problem. I guess he has killed too many brain cells.

He is not the only person to believe that the world would end in 2012 The Mayan calendar ends on December 21st, 2012 C.E. and this was supposed to stand for the end of the world.

In addition, too many people are quick to label someone as crazy. The act alone is dismissive; not to mention that sanity is relative.

With that said, is Darren wrong? Who knows. I guess we will all have to wait until December 21st, 2012. There is a fine line between the extinction of humanity and the world ending. Since we are those who determine time, importance, etc. To us, the mass extinction of our race would be the equivalent of the 'world ending'.

However, I do not believe that this is going to be the case. All I can say is that Daulton did not look good at all on Sportscenter. He was apathetic to the case that he hit his wife and about his problem with alcohol.

I saw him this morning on SC. He def has some kind of issue going on. A person who seems so normal for most their life and all of the sudden starts behaving like that is plenty reason for all the red flags regarding his sanity. Somethings not right

The Mayan Calander does not end on Dec 21, 2012, it is the end of a cycle, and then starts over....

Sorry, you are right. The Mayan Calendar predicts the end of an era on that date and that a new one will start. Just like you said, a cycle.

Well, according to the X-Files, colonization of the Earth (ie.. the end of the world) will occur on December 22, 2012 so...... the guy is obviously wrong :doi:
