Former Saints DE Will Smith shot dead in New Orleans

Witnesses and law enforcement sources have identified a man shot dead in New Orleans on Saturday night as former Saints defensive end Will Smith, The Times-Picayune reports.

According to police, a man was killed and a woman was wounded in a New Orleans double shooting on Saturday night. The female victim sustained gunshot wounds to the leg.

In their report, authorities say the victim was involved in a three-car collision, and was shot multiple times in an ensuing altercation. One of the drivers is in custody and being questioned by police.

On the other hand.... America should have left New Orleans under water.... every year it is in the top 10 for homicide....most years both new Orleans and Baton Rouge are in the top five together.
Not sure if y'all are aware,...but new Orleans aint that big..... folks in bayou country be killin each other, and it almost never makes any news...until it is someone famous

I'm thinking that the rear-ending incident was perhaps intentional. IF, that is so, then wouldn't that pretty much establish criteria for 1st degree, regardless of other facts/coincidences?
