I guess there are no other players on our team but Kurt Warner

I understand Warner is a HOF QB, but seriously this madness has to stop. There are another 52 players that were responsible for the success of this team.

I hope the NFC West is thinking this is going to be a walk in the park next year. They are in for a rude awakening.

"Look for a RB in the draft"

Seriously? What is FOX smoking? Didnt we take Beanie last season and have Timmy in the 5th?

More of the usual. To me it's not so much a lack of respect from the national media, it's that they don't even seem to bother to do their homework to be able to even have a clue.

I have no problem with disrespect from them because this team seems to thrive off that.

But idiocy? Different story

At least we are above the Niners.

Falling 12 places. This guy thinks KW was the glue that kept us together. If we don't get good QB play from whoever is our QB we could be in for a big fall. And the defense would have to really improve over last year.

I normally avoid the power ranking bitterness but like others, this just seemed incoherent to me. I understand the comments about divisional opponents salivating--they knew KW was the best in the division by far, and they are hoping for a big drop-off. I can also see why a drop-off is an easy sell in the papers. What I'm excited about is the kind of consistency that will hopefully become irreconcilable. Like the Ravens or the Steelers. Put them wherever you want--when they're on your schedule you know they have to be dealt with for real.

The entire team needs to improve their ability to play a complete game.

Too many fast starts with slow finishes.

Last year in 5 games the Cards had at one point outscored their opponents by the combined total of 121-16. The final spread was 162-120. Outscored by 104 to 41 after getting those big leads. And of course there was also the Titans game they let get away at the end.

We didn't even get respect last year WITH Kurt as our QB, what were you guys expecting?

I think it is very likely that we drop to the middle of the pack next year. So I have no problem with that.

As for drafting a RB????

Screw em... I am certainly not surprised...hell, there were some pundits picking our team to finish last in the division last season after a SB and with Kurt.

No surprise...

The thing is complete nonsense!!! Funny how all year they were slobbering all over Farves jock and how he was the savior to the Vikings, and not it is not likely he will be back next season but they are at #3?????

They won 10 games with Tavaris Jackson at QB two seasons ago. If Favre officially leaves they will drop him, but guess what? He hasn't announced it yet (go figure) so they aren't going to drop them.

Getting your panties in a wad over power rankings is a huge waste of time. Guess how many times I saw the Suns at #1 in power rankings during their prime SSOL days and guess how many finals appearances that brought them? 0. I saw the cards ranked anywhere from 7-13 the year we went to the Super Bowl.

I do understand dropping us pretty far if the person doing the rankings doesn't believe in Leinart. Our D has shown no promise and Warner is a Hall of Fame caliber QB. Losing that is hard to recover from.

As far saying look for a RB in the draft, that is called not doing your research. RB is the last thing on our draft list right now. We have 3 RBs we like. Very few teams can say that.

They also have us winning 10 games, too. Which is what we won with Warner this year. a 10-6 team being ranked in the bottom half is actually a pretty weird thing. They have 8 teams prjected for worse records ahead of the Cardinals. They must really not respect the NFC West.

They had our record listed last year. Not what they project for us this year.

I think with or without farve the vikings are a top 8 team in the NFL. with favre they are elite. without him they are still a team that could sneak inot the second round of the playoffs. it's kind of early for power rankings lol. I think the cards are kind of low...should be closer to the 10 spot give or take a couple nods on average.
