Burton will helm and produce Frankenweenie, based on his 1984 short film about a pet dog brought back to life by his loyal owner. The movie will be shot in stop-motion animation and shown in digital 3-D.

Huh. Is it endearing or a little creepy?
Best question: Will they have bolts on the neck?

My bride and I really liked it. Lotsa homage to the original Frankenstein movie, some really funny stuff, some tear jerking stuff and some fairly scary images toward the end (for the 5 and under crowd). 4 out of 5 stars. Very enjoyable for young and old.

Am I the only one who hates Tim Burton?

Ok i cant say 'hate' him, i dont even know him. He could be a very good guy IRL. Ill rephrase that:

I Hate his style of movies.

They are absolutely unique, but incredibly abrasive on my toleration for wackiness. Every character hes ever created has the same pale skin, sunken eyes. The worlds are just painfully wacky.

I think it was willy wonka. He damn near destroyed that movie for me with that abomination he made with the Indian disco oompa loompas.

Sweeney Todd was not bad. But it was also the least Tim Burton-ish movie Tim burton has ever made.

Never cared for Tim Burton movies, but this one was quite enjoyable!

I liked that they payed homage to not only Frankenstein, but to Gremlins and Godzilla. I think there was a vampire-cat in there also.

And yes, SuperSpck, he did have bolts on his neck. :)
