Red Wings forward Johan Franzen will have to settle for a natural hat trick instead of a four-goal first period. Franzen was originally credited with scoring a playoff record-tying four goals Thursday night against the San Jose Sharks, but had the first one taken away by a scoring change. Franzen finished the period with three goals in a span of 3:26.
