Both are worth the vet. min if Suns can't/won't keep Voskuhl or Williams.

For the vet. min also Pat Burke is a good addition.

Sean Rooks isn't too bad. At least when I saw him against the Suns he did a very good job in at least one of the games
He is turning 34 this year and he played at ASU.

But he is also only 6'10 so we might as well try someone like Jerome Moiso who is only 24 and has a lot of room for improvement.

Vladimir Stepania also looked good against us and is a strong rebounder at 7.0rpg in 20mpg. He is 2nd in rebounds per 48mpg. He is 7'1.

I believe Kevin Willis is FA as well and he is still in good shape although he turns 41 this year.

Rooks- No Thanks he used to be a Laker and the ASU thing just will not cure that. Plus he can get overweight and slow.

Moiso- I like just not sure a better option than what is available.

Vlad- To much money :(

Willis- I was thinking the same thing during the Finals/ not realy a guy to spread the floor.

Moiso is barely big and asked to play power forward. He certainly is not an NBA center. I'd be surprised if Stepania gets more than somebody's $1 million exception.

Moiso is soft and he can't play C any better than Bo Outlaw. He was drafted on potential and he never panned out. Say no to Moiso!

Loren Woods...

Anyone else remember wishing we could draft him?

If we could've got him in the 2nd round I don't think it would've been that bad. Although Skiles would've made him cry on a daily basis. He's such a crybaby.

He certainly would have given the Phoenix Suns more than they got from Alton Ford. I remember reading, however, that the Phoenix Suns would not have taken him even if he had been available at the time they picked.

I still think Woods could be adequate in the right circumstances.

However, we have one player to baby already (Joe Johnson)

should be interesting to see what we do. we need to resign little jake for sure. i wonder how much pull the marbyry rumor has in getting campbell. that would be nice.

i think we are seeing that the colangelo's are commited to making this team a winner and building a consistent winner. they are stepping up to the plate. i wouldn't be surprised if we pulled off something that really improved our center position.

if not, we are deeper already and we have what looks like a decent bench now. our bench scoring sucked last year. i think that will be a big improvment this year. the draft scouts have always done well, and i don't think that will change.
