Names that I ran across on realgm.com with NBA experience that are listed as FA's.

Sean Marks
Ruben Boumtje Boumtje
Amal McCaskill
Micheal Doleac
Kevin Willis
Jabari Smith
Joel Przybilla
Tony Massenberg
Medvedenko

I would be willing to give McCaskill a chance, Kevin Willis would be good to have around for a year.

If Mamadou is avialable I think I would go after him first.

That's not true. If they were worth nothing they wouldnt be in the NBA. I think Doleac would actually be a pretty good pickup.

Ah what the hell, bring in willis. Split time between Willis, Voskhul, and Vroman.

The term "minimum contract" screams out at me for all these guys. Doleac gets more ink than the rest, but that's only because he will probably return to NY which is always BIG NEWS. Przybilla seems likely to remain in Atlanta since he was moderately productive for them and no one else likes him.

McCaskill is 31 years old with a career 1.9 rpg average. What am I missing here?

Medvedenko could be the best of this bunch, which is hardly a glowing recommendation. He averaged 8 ppg on 44.1% shooting, grabed 5.0 rpg in 21.2 minutes. He'd be a good pickup if he was really cheap, but hardly a difference maker.

Medvedenko with a low-end salary would make Amare and Marion very happy employees. Can't have enough good worker morale in the NBA.

I think the Lakers will keep Medvedenko. After they trade O'Neal, they'll need every big man they can get.

Apparently, the Suns brought in a center from the University of Pacific the other day to look at him - Guillaime Yango. I know they didn't sign him, but he is in LA today to talk to the Lakers and he met with Minnesota last week.

Does anyone know anything about him other than the usual stats from the net?

What is his physicalness like? Hustle? Play smaller or bigger than his frame?

Doleac might be a good fit, hes kinda like Jake... but taller.
Doleac moves his feet on defense. At 6-11, Doleac has nice touch around the basket. I can't figure out why he can't find a home. Maybe he's just too weak ...
