has made charitable contributions totaling $25.8 million to non-profit organizations throughout Arizona over the last 14 years. The D-backs became the first professional sports team to win the inaugural 2010 United Nations NGO Positive Peace Award, which names the organization as the most positive team in the world and recognizes organizations that positively impact their community through corporate responsibility. No other sports team in the world has received this recognition and we are extremely proud of it!

I could go on about t
he numerous awards and countless recognition the Diamondbacks constantly receive, but each season we all work towards one goal, a World Series. We are a young team that was established in 1998 and we won our first World Series against the New York Yankees in 2001. We are the fastest expansion team to win a World Series in Major League Baseball history, it only took us 4 years!
Let me do my best to try and give you the baseball experience through the eyes of a fan on his way to our beautiful ballpark Chase Field and it’s retractable roof and side walls. The D-backs Legends Race* is always a lot of fun and something I look forward to each game. The D-backs Legends are bobblehead racers of 4 legendary Diamondback players Randy Johnson, Luis Gonzalez, Matt Williams and Mark Grace, who has yet to win a race.

Probably the best feature of a diamondbacks game is how affordable it is. According to Team Marketing Report, The Arizona Diamondbacks Cost Index of $120.96 is again the lowest in Major League Baseball for the fifth consecutive season. The success of our organization off the field only carries onto the field. We’ve had a lot of success in our brief history, with our inaugural season beginning in 1998. The D-backs won their fifth division title along with 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2007 since 1998. We have reached the postseason in 5 of the last 14 years, the second-highest postseason winning percentage all-time behind the New York Yankees. The 2011 D-backs were coming off back-to-back last-place finishes, and Manager Kirk Gibson worked during the spring to change the culture of the clubhouse. We play every at bat, all nine innings. This new culture has proved to be very successful, having a Major League-best and franchise record of 48 comeback wins in 2011. Our pitchers can hit!! These are just a few reasons to follow us, baseball has never been more exciting!!
