Mehmet Okur should probably be #2 on the Suns list. He can play center and PF. He can shoot it and would be a pretty good compliment to Amare.

He will get more than the MLE but not much more so that could be a pretty cheap price for a young center who will still improve.

He has 27/14 tonight with 14FTA.

Career high in points. Never realized he already had 2 18 rebounds games this season. #19 in rebounds per minute.

Okur gets mixed reviews. He is very good on offense, but has Wallace to carry the load on defense. In any case, the Pistons are strongly committed to re-signing him.

The Pistons couldn't match the Suns offer unless they get rid off some contracts.
I think right now the Pistons could only offer the MLE.

Ok didn't look it up, I just read on a Pistons board that they were afraid Phoenix could sign Okur and they would have to unload Corliss Williamson somehow.

They have been preparing for the longest time to re-sign Okur...

They traded away both Cliff Robinson and Jon Barry to clear off much needed space....They've been trying to trade Atkins, Davis, and Hunter for quite awhile....

Sura and Rebraca will simply walk away next season, and I wouldnt be stunned if they also trade Williamson some time during the off-season....
