...after $100 rebate and 2-year contract. Ends Today

The rebate comes back ina form of a debit card

You might need to enter your zip code in and try the link again. It says for new service, but you can still get it as an upgrade if you are a current customer not under contract.

For current customers, just sign in and select your phone number to upgrade. Go back to the link and add it to the cart.

I was mulling over it for a while because of the 2-year contract, but I ended up giving in and getting it. I was going to see how the iPhone played out, but what the heck, it's free.

The way I understand it is...If the voice plan that you currently have and want to keep is also listed under the Pearl, than you wouldn't pay anything extra. You would just be stuck with them for the next 2 years unless you pay the hefty fee to break the contract. You would also order a data rate plan on top of your voice plan.

Current customers that qualify will be billed a one-time $18 upgrade fee, and new customers are billed $36. What you pay upfront is $100 which comes back to you as a $100 debit card.
