No joke, you can get a free copy of Windows XP Professional by completeing this stupid thing:

http://www.windowsmobiletraining.com/

Takes about 45 minutes and you have to earn 1500 points by participating in quizes and stuff. Mine will be here in 8 weeks....

What would be some reasons for me to want to upgrade to Pro? The only thing I can thing of is the domain option (can access stuff while I'm at school). Any other benefits?

Mostly security options and the domain stuff.... I prefer Pro vs. Home

"Stay Tuned ...

Windows Mobile™ Training is growing. In the last year more than 20,000 people have registered on the site. Things are getting a little crowded!

So, now it’s time for us to remodel and make room for such a big audience.

Check back with us again in a couple of weeks. You’ll find a new site design, easier navigation, and more features such as current news feeds.

You will be able to register at that time.

Thank you for your patience.

—The Windows Mobile Training team "

I'm still on Windows 98. I need to improve, though - I can't install some of the new software programs. Should I/can I go to XP or will I have to just buy a new computer? Thanks.
