Another movie I really want to see. Hopefully it lives up to the hype. Based on a true story.

I want to see this one too. I am not a fan of Billy Bob Thornton but can put up with him if the movie is good. I went to college in eastern New Mexico and foot ball in NM and West texas is religious. Should be a solid movie...maybe on a par with Hoosiers?

I read this book in college and I believe Jessie Armstead was a "real" player on the other team they play in the Championship game. If i remember correctly his friends all asked him to go along with an armed robbery a few days after the game. Good choice on his part to decline!!I don't think they mention Armstead in the movie

awesome movie.went friday afternoon. most realistic tackling, passing playcalling, etc.tim mcgraw is great for what i believe is his his first feature film.billy bob is also very good, the rb steals the movie very funny.all i can say is that this movie is definately worth seeing.

I wanna see this too, but seen a a football expert say some nontruths in it. Hate that. Gotta ruin a good movie experience, watching for the wrong things.
