watched the suns spurms game tonight with buncha mavs minions, and we all agree. if we meet you guys in the post season, i sure hope you have just gone 7 games with someone.

other words, suns are looking solid as any team in the west.

i know we won the other night, but from the way you guys looked tonight, id be a nervous wreck to think about a series with you right now. at least as inconsistent as we have been lately.

i believe this could be the year of the suns, and i honestly believe last year should have been.

i have felt like you guys got reamed by the nba last year. you know, the whorey hit episode.

figure you guys were as good last year as we were the year before when we got the same treatment basically from the nba.

anywayz, yall lookin real good, and if we get knocked out early, i would like to support the suns second if its ok wit uze guyz.

The more the merrier. The playoffs in the West this year will be insane. No matter who is playing. There is a lot of balance in the top 8 or 9 this season in the West. Good luck to Dallas as well - to a point at least. :)

I still weep about the last mavs game, but I am optimistic about any 7 game series.

Like I have said, if I had to pick any 2 teams to get to the WCF it would easily be suns and mavs, since our teams have earned it. Both our teams were right on the cusp of a championship and nba bs took them both away.

Almost every mavs vs suns game is the best of the entire nba season. Even this last game while terrible for the suns because of the 4th quarter egg people still loved it since the mavs pulled a dramatic exciting 4th quarter comeback and won the game. The post game article was on top stories of yahoo news where regular nba games articles barely ever are.

So we just gotta hope for the best! Suns vs Mavs WCF!!

Finally a very unTROLL like fan from another team. You hear that abchang or whatever his name is?

Actually, I still think a 7 game series against you guys would be very tough. This game comes down to big shots and Dirk and some of your other guys can still hit those.

At least the Mavs don't flop and whine. Good luck and thanks for the compliments.

the spurs aren't winning it all this year. I know many people took them lightly last year. but I just don't see them having the gas in the tank to outscore all of these teams in the west. I would like to see the suns or the mavs knock the spurs out. but there are just so many good teams. utah, LA, NO, Phx, and I think the mavs are starting to play better. but having said that....I still take the spurs seriously. this team just finds ways to gut it out in the playoffs. even when the mavs had them down 3-1 in the playoffs a couple of years back......and had a 20+point lead at halftime in game 7. they still almost came back and won. that team will play better in the playoffs I'd imagine.

I don't think any matchup will be easy, and this win tonight makes the Dallas loss hurt even more.

Dallas and Phoenix always put on a good show.

ya. everyone hates the spurs except for those little ppl.

in my opinion they have 2 asteriscs. the strike year and last year.

one think for sure, if the suns or mavs ever get it, it will be hard earned and not awarded like so many have been. (spurs, heat, globetrotters)

i actually did a poll on my home board, and we want the spurms in the first round. we split with them this year but one loss was right after we got kid and were really rusty, he didnt know the offense yet, and the other one we were ahead and dirk went down.

you just gotta hate spurs fans that cheer when your best player is carried off the court, and then say they hope his career is over.

yes they do. they are a tough matchup for each other. over the past 3 years it's been a pick em' game just about every time out. it just seems like their head to head games have been close to 50-50.

it would be very entertaining.

remember how boring the wcf were last year.

i once cooked a cornish game hen between scores in that series between the spurms and jazz.

actually the spurs took 3 of 4. they were all close except for the one blowout which the mavs won. one game duncan missed another dirk got injured. I don't think the spurs have any astericks. If the mavs had one title I'd like to talk to a person that tried to put an asterick by it LOL. winning a title is not easy. and tell that to avery dallasdude....he might slap you.

**** your right, 3 of 4. hell with them.

in my book they have 2 asterisks.

strike year

and horry ko nash and suspend suns for it. and ya i know horry got suspended too, but it was well worth it to them, it got them a title, and to me, thats another asterisk.

that helped...but they still won the series in game 6 with some comfort in that game. If it had came down to game 7 at the buzzer and a spurs player hit a 50 footer to win....maybe i'd think differently. horry's 3 at the buzzer to beat the kings was probably more of an example of luck for the lakers? do they deserve an asterick? I think not.

and as I said before....if the mavs won the title in the strike year...you'd be defending it. and so would I or any of the suns fans if their team won. you meant to tell me that a team with david robinson, mario ellie, tim duncan, avery johnson, sean elliot, ect...was an asterick team? you are lost a bit. but that's ok....if you hate the spurs it's all good. I don't like them...and I hate them when the mavs play them. but I don't let that emotion cloud my judgement.

exactly. nowitski (yes i know i spelled it wrong) and cuban annoy me, as does terry, but overall i dont mind them. that being said, if we play them, they might as well be the spurs and lakers put together.

you know cuban can annoy me from time to time....but dallas should give that guy the key to the city.

with no titles? they should give him the pacifier to the city.
did you cheer for the mavs when they were in the cellar? i think not.

nash has delivered no titles to the suns....but do you love him any less for what he's brought to your team. think outside the box for a moment.

thx, mavs have always played a good clean game at a high level. Dirk is one of the scariest guys in the league when a shot has to be made, even falling down fading away, ughhh! Yeah, I though the mavs were mugged in the finals, I guess the refs thought DWade was god. I really liked the last mavs/celtics game, great game only flawed by some bogus fouls called when Pierce flopped, pulled down his man a couple times and got the call. That game I came to the conclusion that Dirk has gotten alot better on D(esp. on KG). good luck!

Cuban annoys me, but I like Dirk, and terry is an incredibly fierce competitor, I'd want him on my team(though .. I'd rather have Dirk). Dirk is a humble guy, he displays good sportsmanship with alot of class, I dont know how anyone cannot like him. Most guys with that kind of skill are quite arrogant.

Personally, I've been praying for a Mavs/Hornets series not only because I think it'd be a great matchup but I think Dallas could put a whooping on those young pups in NO, and I'm always game for a good upset :D. Mavs are going to be in good shape for the playoffs IMO.

well before this season the mavs had actually beat the hornets like 21 games in a row......they lost 3 of 4 or split with them this year I can't remember. one game went to overtime and the mavs lost after peja hit an incredible three in diop's grill to tie the game in regulation. that would be a great series.

did peja hit a game winning shot on us too?

i think with them, you have to take away peja & west.
make chandler & cp3 score. i would make cp3 score most the points.

it sounds easy, but thats just from a strategy standpoint.lol

You saw one hell of a game. If we can play that way every game, we’ll be in good shape.
