From today's David Aldridge chat on ESPN.com...
James (Detroit): Dave, what teams in the league do you see having the most promising future (consider everything, like salaries, cap room, players age, etc.)
David Aldridge: (7:08 PM ET ) San Antonio has a great future. The Spurs have cap room, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and players that accept their roles. Detroit has a good young nucleus and a chance to take a potential franchise center in Milicic. Assuming the Nets keep Kidd, New Jersey is in very good shape for the future, with Martin and Jefferson. I think Phoenix has a chance to be a real player in the next few years once it gets a couple of big contracts off the books and can add around Marbury and Stoudamire.
If only the Suns had taken Jared Jeffries instead of Amare Stoudemire with that #9 pick last summer!
