The transfer portal opens on Wednesday, and it is also the final week of spring practice for Florida State football.
So far, quarterback Trever Jackson, offensive lineman Jaylen Early, and wide receiver Jordan Scott are among the three players who plan to enter the portal this week.
It is possible that more will come, and head coach Mike Norvell expects it after having conversations with his players who are considering transferring.
"There's not a whole lot of surprises that happen, but there's a whole lot of real conversations, and so ultimately, we're working through it, " Norvell said.
"There's work to be done, and there are definitely some guys that are going in the portal, and I'll hold all the support for them and their journey, where they're going and what they'll be. "
The Seminoles signed 16 transfers in the 2025 class, including quarterback Tommy Castellanos, wide receiver Duce Robinson, and veterans on the offensive and defensive lines. Norvell didn't specify how active he would be in the spring portal, but he keeps this in mind while evaluating his roster.
"It's something we'll always be evaluating if there's an opportunity to make your team better," Norvell said.
"If there's an opportunity where you might have a position that could be enhanced with the competition, it all has to fit. It wants to be right."

The Seminoles' wide receivers are getting healthier at the right time. Norvell confirmed that Lawayne McCoy and Jalen Brown returned to the field, adding more depth to the core.
Last week, Squirrell White returned to the field after his battle with injuries. Robinson is still not 100 percent but has been working his way back to full strength while working on the side.
"There will be times when you have bumps and bruises and whatever the issue might be, and you might not be available, but you're still responsible for the work and for understanding the installations," Norvell said.
FSU will hold its final scrimmage on Saturday inside its practice facility.
