Florida State football landed its first commitment in the spring transfer portal window.

Houston defensive back Jeremiah Wilson has committed to the Seminoles program following a visit on Friday, according to 247Sports.

A Kissimmee native, Wilson recorded 16 tackles, four interceptions and four pass breakups in his junior season with the Cougars.

This will be Wilson's third school, however, he will reunite with a familiar face in defensive coordinator Tony White. Wilson spent a year at Syracuse in White's defense after he recruited him to the Orange.

Wilson, a 5-foot-10 185 185-pound defensive back, is ranked as a 4-star transfer prospect by 247Sports.

Defensive back was a position of need for the Seminoles, and by bringing in Wilson, it gives the program depth in a key area, and likely a player who can compete for a starting role.
