These days off will determine the series IMO. It's out of the routine for ballplayers to have this many days off. Who can stay sharp and stay hot?



Who woulda thunk it though? I bet not a single person on the planet saw the Rockies-DBacks matchups this year and thought, "This could be a preview of the NLCS." Not even the player's moms would have thought it.

I think it will affect the Rockies - they cannot keep up that torrid pace after 3 days off. I mean, they've been playing non-stop for the last 2 weeks it seems.

The long rest is the best thing we could have asked for going into this series vs the Rockies. Even though the D-Backs were playing well (especially Drew), the entire Rockies team has been kicking tail. Hopefully they cool off...
