Make up you own Cards Big Board from These Players who may not have been selected prior to pick #24. Make your Big Board with at least 5 of these players so we can compare each of our differences in thinking.

Melvin Gordon
Ereck Flowers
La'el Collins
Eddie Goldman
Marcus Peters
Trae Waynes
Denzel Perryman
Maxx Williams
Malcom Brown
Cameron Erving
T.J. Clemmings
Eli Harold
Benardrick McKinney
Owamagbe Odighizuwa
Breshad Perriman
Arik Armstead
Landon Collins
Randy Gregory
Alvin (Bud) Dupree
Eric Kendricks

Here is my version of what should be Cards Big 5 Board at pick #24:
1. Trae Waynes
2. Malcom Brown
3. Alvin (Bud) Dupree
4. Cameron Erving
5. Landon Collins

Upon reflection I switched Dupree from 5 to 3.

Don't believe Trae Wayne's makes it out of the top 15 or I would have him in there.

Why would anyone suggest taking Landon Collins? We took a safety in the first round last year, and he's pretty damn good. We've got Mathieu, and really solid depth in Jefferson and Johnson. Safety, frankly, is our most solid positional group.

The trouble in this thin draft is that most of the listed players are more what would be second round talent in most years. We need a corner, a pass rusher, and a bull running back. Trae Waynes, of course, but he won't make it near us.
Marcus Peters might due to off-field issues, but I'd take him if there. Harold and Dupree are solid OLB talents, but Dupree is top 15 material. Melvin Gordon is an exceptional running back and will be a star in this league.

Waynes
Dupree
Peters
Gordon
Harold

"And down the stretch they come". It's looking like a two horse race, the entry from Seminole Farms, Goldman and Erving, defense and offense, head and head, approaching the finish line, and the winner is..............Eddie Goldman. Defense wins out.

It was a great race, but when you think about it, if the Cards had resigned Dumpster Dan, they could have had both horses.

19 reps on the bench tells me he's lazy and will fall deep into the second round.

Peters is so much better than everybody realizes. That guy is a top 10 talent. By far #1 CB in the draft. Skillset to be one of the top 6 CBs in the entire NFL. Dude can be special.
