Gagne upset, looking towards free agency

Upset that he wasn't offered a multiyear deal by the Dodgers, Eric Gagne already seems to be looking forward to free agency.
"The only thing I can control is what I do on the mound, but then I've got [three] more years and then I'm a free agent," Gagne said. "That's the only time I'm going to have any leverage, which is when I can do whatever I want." Gagne said he'd still "love" to receive a multiyear deal from the Dodgers, so it doesn't seem that he's that upset with the team yet. It's probably something that the Dodgers will look into after the season.

I forget is he that young, or is he signed to a low priced multi year deal?

Either way, to be making remarks like that (albeit not too strong) with THREE years remaining is a little odd.

He is only 28 years old so he is still a young guy. I don't know about his deal but he went through arbitration this offseason didn't he?
