Both would be tremendous additions.. At the right price.. With this said, the million dollar question looms: What do the Diamondbacks have to give up to get them?

If it means trading one of the Big 2 (Jackson, Quentin), Stephen Drew, Chad Tracy or guys like Nippert, I'd rather see Arizona pass.

Ryan is going to be a free agent, so he wouldnt cost anything in a trade. Hunter has a salary of $11-12M next year, so trading for him looks difficult and unlikely, IMO.

Torii Hunter would be great but pitching and a catcher should be top priorities for the off season. Most notably trading Vazquez because he is probably going to ask for a trade and trying to get out of Ortiz's contract.

Who are the FA pitchers available? Valverde could be our closer if he stays healthy, don't know about Brandon Lyon, or aquino, but dump the rest of the bullpen, so we need at least 2lefties/righties and a surefire setup man, not including 3starting pitchers, not belly itchers.. I'd be fine if Vasquez leaves, as long as we get good value for him.. Webb needs to be in RJohnson's offseason workout program to gain the killer instinct he lacks at times to go with his killer stuff. Estes when healthy was good, Ortiz is a dog[but a nice one]he's got to go! We need 3 top of the line sure fire starters to join Webby and Estes.. I also think that the DBacks are too slowto bring up minor league pitchers.. where is that 100mph former ss? He'll close down some games and/or have batters dropping loads in their britches!

No kidding. The only guys I would even consider are AJ Burnett (too expensive) and Ted Lilly.
