Oh, Robbie. Throws too many pitches, so he makes tons of throws
to 1B following a leadoff single.

And Adam Eaton, former D-back, triples him in. Infield playing
back and will concede a second run. No one out.

Peralta has to make a diving catch in LF, but the run comes in
on the sac fly.

Well, we don't have an ace on the staff. :(

2-0 Nationals going to the bottom of the 1st.

Bottom of the 1st. Marte draws a 1-out walk.

And Escobar with a 2-run HR. Tie game.

A hitter hitting. Alright! :D

Ahmed with a 1-out solo HR in the 2nd.

All-or-nothing. So far, all! And at home.

Tied at 3.

Peralta doubles in Marte, who had singled, with 2 outs in the 3rd.

Walker singles him in and it's 5-2 D-back.

Strasburg at 63 pitches in 3 innings.

Robbie has settled down. 45 pitches in the first 3 innings.

Then he gives up a 2-run triple to Parra. 5-4 D-backs.

And the pitcher Strasburg strands him on 3B.

Strasburg and Robbie between them have given up nine
runs in the first 4 innings. A bit surprising,

Escobar drives in Marte and Lamb with a 2-run HR
in the 5th to chase Strasburg.

And Avila with a 2-run HR to make it 10-4.

And Jones hits for Robbie, who pitched 5 innings.

Yoshi in to pitch the 6th.

'Sure is lonesome on ASFN D-backs! :hacker:

Grace is in pitching his second inning. No, not Mark.

A Washington reliever. And a lefty.

And now every starting position player for the D-backs
has at least one base hit.

Quite a contract from yesterday when they had none.

The only thing consistent about the D-backs hitters
is their inconsistency.

Jake Lamb up with the bases loaded in the 6th and two outs.

He had homered earlier, but leaves them stranded.

I had to step away for an hour. I missed the fun.

Parra trying to be a pitcher.

And Godley trying to be a pitcher.

And Escobar with 7 RBI's.

What a goofy game!

I guess the D-backs will be 1-hit tomorrow.

It was a fun game to watch, that's for sure!

No kidding. Great game.

Got to see many friends at the ballpark too - including @Dback Jon and Alex, Kira (from Cards' games), and Tom and Judy (my wife worked with Judy for years).

Love how they gave out vouchers and then you just walked outside and grabbed as many globes as you had vouchers. Went very smoothly, IMHO.
