Down 0-3 in the fourth. The only noise is being made by the Cubs’ fan. Hopefully we can make something happen soon.

Come on man
You can’t strike out looking with 2 outs and the bases loaded.

What a game in the rubber match.

It is 3-3 in the bottom of the 13th with two outs and the bases loaded.

New reliever in and John Ryan Murphy pinch-hitting. And he whiffs.

On to the 14th. At least Monday is an off-day.

Ahmed tried, but his fly ball was short.

This was the second longest D-backs game, in terms of time.

Monday off. Tuesday & Wednesday against the Yankees
(6:30 on Tue. and a day game 12:30 on Wed.).

Then another off day on Thursday, before the Rockies
come in for the a 3-day weekend series.

My wife was ready to leave by the 13th inning but I had to stay. She said she did not sign up for a double header. Maybe it was because I was at the game and caught up in the atmosphere but Nick's hit was like a rocket coming off his bat. A little more height and it would have been gone. All the Cubs' fans around me thought it was gone by the sound of the bat. Even though we lost the game it was a very exciting game. When they had the bases load, no outs and they had Bryant, Rizzo and Baez coming up, I thought it was all over. There were base runners stranded all over the place, by both teams. I'm surprised the board was so dead during this game. It was a lot of fun (except the loss).

If my wife had not been with me I probably would have increased my post count by 100 because there was so much going on and no one posting. But she made me put my phone up and pay attention to her. ;)
