I noticed something in the Tampa game that seemed a bit off to me (aside from the offense, of course). Is seemed like whenever the official blew the whistle to stop a play, the clock would tick an extra second or two. This even happened after James scored his touchdown. I realize this probably had to do with the game being in Tampa, but what is the proper procedure for the clock? Is it supposed to stop immediately when the whistle blows? Is the TV clock and official game clock always the same?

Well, whenthe Cards stop the clock with 5 seconds to play vs. Seattle , there was 1 second left after the kick.
When the Ravens stop the clock to kick their game winning field goal, time expired.

Apparantly it is something taht isn't monitored that closely.
