The Suns are at the other end of the West's spectrum. Their loss Wednesday dropped them to 9-23, tied with Dallas for the worst record in the conference.

No doubt, the highlight of Phoenix's consecutive losses at Houston and San Antonio on a three-day trip was the play of rookie Dragan Bender.

The No. 4 pick in June had been one of the biggest disappointments of the Top 10, limited to five points or fewer in 27 of the Suns' first 30 games, before living up to the pre-draft hype with 11- and 10-point outings against the Rockets and Spurs.

Fellow rookie Marquese Chriss, the No. 8 overall selection, also had a nice trip, recording 12- and 13-point games.

Rather than taking Dudley out of the rotation, I wish Watson would just take Tucker out and give Bender those minutes while still giving Dudley his.

Dudley is the only high IQ basketball player on this team who doesn't ball hog and actually passes it around.

I wonder if Dudley is too slow to play some minutes as a backup at SG or SF. He has played there before. I never really bought Dudley playing PF.

Usually there is a lull in the game where the Suns need someone to hit a shot. This happens frequently where the Suns lose contact with their opponent because they go through a cold shooting spell. Dudley might help this plus he can play adequate defense.

Booker had no lift on that layup attempt

The Suns are in last place in the Western Conference and third place in the league. This is unlikely to change tonight but games are played on the court.

Knights pass a few feet over the head of the intended receiver.

Ulis and Bledsoe play well together. Playing two PGs can work. Booker is also on the court with Chandler and Tucker. The Suns are going for energy.

It seems like Booker hit the rookie wall this season. He doesn't seem to be the same player he was in the 2nd half of last season. Still excited about his future though.

It certainly seems that way. My primary concern about Booker long term is his shooting. If he was shooting better he could do about anything on the court.

During the halftime show Tucker looked drunk when he made that Shaqtin a Fool video. I really don't like that he's still a part of the Suns organization. I really hope the only reason he's been getting more minutes is to showcase him.

Earl Watson keeps saying the Suns should play defense like PJ Tucker. He gets a lot of praise so I'm not sure what the Suns are thinking.

I think there is a fair chance Tucker gets traded because he is an expiring contract and the Suns are not going anywhere. In fairness to Tucker he does expend a lot of energy on defense.

I didn't see the video. Do you have a link?

I so enjoy watching Tyler Ulis. He has 10 points.

Now the Suns take him out.

He reminds me a lot of IT.

Booker is doing it right. He drives to the basket for a 3 point play to gain confidence and then comes back with an outside 3.

I blame Toronto for taking us lightly. Philly and Miami both lost so they gained a game in the Tankathon rankings.

Yes. Suns win 99-91 versus the Raptors.

It's great to get wins against quality teams.
