Rockets look to get better versus Suns
The Suns snapped a four-game skid with their 123-116 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, a victory that featured a fourth consecutive game in which they scored more points than they did in the previous outing.

What remains problematic for Phoenix is its defense. The Suns rank 26th in defensive rating (110.9 points per 100 possessions) and 29th in points allowed per game with 113.6. They have surrendered at least 100 points in 13 consecutive games, with opponents averaging 116.1 points during that stretch.

If I recall correctly, DA used to let them play for the most part when he coached the Suns. He didn't like to slow the game down. Maybe this is a change in his philosophy.

So the Suns don't have many options at this point. McD I'm sure would like to get rid of a vet or two but they have either zero or negative value at this point.

Bender is starting to show flashes. He is playing some defense, rebounding and getting in position to take the good shot. He has away to go but I like he is getting playing time.
