I actually think a healthy Clark could help this team a lot, but my understanding is that the Suns are not interested in playing him. Of course before yesterday I hadn't heard nor would I ever have imagined that they would trade away two first-round draft picks just to get rid of Tom Gugliotta's contract for the remainder of this season.

It's game time, and I'm off to the chat room. I might have to Tivo the Minnesota/Detroit game.

Pregame skit worth seeing

Flipping through the stations I came across the pregame show for the Suns. They showed a feature called "Jerry After Dark." Very funny skits. It started at 8:36 at night with Jerry's secretary going home for the night and telling Jerry not to work too much longer into the night. As soon as his secretary is gone, Jerry puts on some RayBans, pops in a cd, and dances around his office "Risky Business" style. Then he gets on the phone and calls Al McCoy to meet him courtside. Al stays up, in his robe, for hours (by the clock progression) doing shot by shot commentating for Jerry "the Southpaw" Colangelo. Then Jerry calls "Go" and asks him to meet him at the practice court. The Gorilla meets Jerry at the practice court and they do a few stunt shots with trampoline and flipping, etc. Nice fluent body-double work in the skit. Again, after an "elapsed" couple of hours, Jerry calls "Matt" and says he'll be at the ballpark in 10 minutes, as he gets into a Suns-themed Hummer. Next Jerry is announced as the batter, facing Mantei, who is shown to be throwing at 98 mph, with a backstop behind the plate. Jerry's stats vs. Mantei are shown and he bats .700 against him with a 1.479 slugging %. Jerry rocks the ball to every part of the park, and one time grabs the pitch as it crosses the plate, and throws it back to Mantei saying "C'mon - put something on it!" Mantei starts to wind up and Jerry points to the pool. The pitch is thrown and Jerry knocks it right into the water with a towering shot. Then, instead of going around the bases, Jerry goes out to the outfield wall, climbs it and jumps into the pool for the baseball. Lastly, it is the next morning at 7 am and the secretary opens Jerry's office door only to find him asleep at his desk where she'd left him the previous night. She says "Jerry never stops working." As she leaves the office the camera pans to his bookcase where a soaking wet change of clothes is still dripping wet...hung there to dry.

Very funny - even to a Lakers' fan like me.

BTW , that video is on suns.com for like 5 month or so.

So? I'm not a Suns fan. I just happened to see it because I live in AZ and was flipping through the channels and came upon it.
