Easy come, easy go. Fans of the Black and Gold hoping to see the Pittsburgh Steelers' WR duo of George Pickens and DK Metcalf tear up opposing defensive backs in 2025 may need to prepare for the worst.

It was reported that Pickens was not among the receivers to welcome Metcalf to the Steel City, and he has now posted an ominous picture on Instagram with Las Vegas Raiders minority owner and seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.

While this post could be harmless, it has long been expected that Pickens isn’t part of the Pittsburgh Steelers' long-term plans at receiver, especially after Metcalf’s historic four-year, $132 million contract extension with the Black and Gold less than two weeks ago.

This situation is eerily similar to the path Antonio Brown took out of Pittsburgh—an extremely talented receiver whose on- and off-field baggage outweighed his talent, ultimately leading to a trade to the Raiders.
