Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman Daniel Calhoun has been ruled out for the rest of spring practice. Georgia head coach Kirby Smart noted that Calhoun has a foot injury.

"He's (Daniel Calhoun) going to miss the rest of spring," said Smart. "He's got a foot injury that he's dealing with. He was doing a great job competing for one of the starting guard spots, and it's not a major injury. It's just one that's going to cost him the next three weeks to do that."

The 6-foot-6, 325-pound redshirt freshman appeared in three games for Georgia during the 2024 college football season. Calhoun is a former four-star recruit. He's one of several Dawgs that are competing for a starting role along Georgia's offensive line, which lost four starters to the 2025 NFL draft.

Calhoun is expected to return for fall camp, but his status is one to monitor. Georgia finished with the second-worst rushing offense in the SEC last season and needs more consistent play out of its offensive line.

Calhoun is not the only Georgia offensive lineman that is out this spring. Offensive tackle Monroe Freeling has a shoulder injury and is out. Additionally, Georgia offensive guard Marques Easley is suspended.
