The Georgia Bulldogs will be having a spring football game. The University of Georgia's official website finally made an announcement regarding the game on March 25.

Georgia's spring game, which is known as G-Day, will in Sanford Stadium at 1:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 12. Georgia notes there will not be a television channel for the game as Georgia did not give ESPN broadcast rights to their spring game, so out-of-town fans may not be able to tune in (outside of via radio).

Tickets for G-Day are $10 and are available on Georgia's website starting on March 31 at noon ET. Gates to Sanford Stadium open at 10:30 a.m. The G-Day game typically lasts about two hours and is a pass-heavy game.

"We like to have prospects come in," said Georgia football coach Kirby Smart. "It's a big event. We have official visits."

He noted that the 2025 spring game may have a bit of a different schedule since Georgia's game is not televised. "We want to control the timing of it more, and we want to be able to play at our pace and not have to worry about the constraints of being inside a window," added Smart.

Georgia Bulldog Radio Network will provide radio coverage for the game. Georgia's 2025 regular season opener is against Marshall on Aug. 30.

Georgia has had several weeks of spring practice at this point. We're glad the Bulldogs are having a spring game, which is a big reward for fans, who can see the team play without having to spend as much money as they would during the fall.
