Georgia softball heads to Columbia, S.C., for its first conference series on the road Friday against the No. 9 Gamecocks.

The Lady Bulldogs had a 1-2 showing in Athens last weekend against No. 8 Tennessee, dropping the first game 6-1 and the series finale 5-2, but winning game two 4-3 in nine innings. They beat Georgia Southern on Wednesday 1-0.

The first game on Beckham Field will be Friday at 6 p.m., with game two on Saturday at 3 p.m. and game three on Sunday at 1 p.m.

No. 13 Georgia is now 20-4 overall and 1-2 in the SEC. South Carolina is also 20-4 overall, but 0-3 in the SEC after just barely losing to No. 2 Oklahoma.
