German National Goalkeeper Robert Enke Dead

He committed suicide apparently, got hit by a train.

He played for Gladbach, Barcelona, Lisbon and Hannover and was the German #1 national team keeper recently.

3 years ago his 2yr old daughter died from a rare heart disease. In May he and his wife adopted an 8 months old girl.

He was playing for my hometown club. It actually happened not too many miles away from my home.

What a way to commit suicide. Sad story, he must have had a lot of issues.

Awful that like.

A few years back the Sunderland goalkeeping coach (and ex player) Tim Carter commited suicide. I cant understand what would make someone feel that way when they have young family, but i guess you dont unless your are in that persons shoes. Very sad.
