Plot Summary

Plot Synopsis: The Apache Indians have reluctantly agreed to settle on a US Government approved reservation. Not all the Apaches are able to adapt to the life of corn farmers, and one in particular - Geronimo, is restless. Pushed over the edge by broken promisses and unecessary actions by the government, Geronima and thirty or so other warriors form a attack team which humiliates the government by evading capture, while reclaiming what is rightfully theirs.

I just watched it. I remember wanting to see it back in 1993 when it was released, but I didn’t make it and eventually forgot about it. It was one of Matt Damon’s first movies and he did quite well. There wasn’t anything spectacular about this one, just a decent movie based on a historical event. Whenever someone says “Geronimo”, it reminds me of the scene in Hot Shots Part Deux, when they are jumping out of the airplane yelling “Geronimo” and then Geronimo jumps out and yells “Me”. For some reason that always cracks me up.
