Great price, healthy, young, experienced, no baggage, no question marks, and you know exactly what you are getting......just what we need. Give them whatever draft pick it takes and it will still be cheaper and better than any other options we have this year. I can't think of an easier problem free choice for the Cards. It is almost too simple for words. I had thought that he would have been perfect for the Jags, and could have been the first QB to win back to back SBs with 2 different teams.

Disagreed since we'll have to pay for him... and there's two major question marks known as the two abysmal seasons and thought of retirement he put up.

But, uhh.... this thread is crazy, haha.

Bill Polian says two first and two seconds, and everyone thinks it's some kind of truth? That guys a clown, and the asking price will be nowhere anywhere close to that for a backup qb who had a hot playoffs.

The same Bill Polian who managed one single Super Bowl victory with Peyton Manning? ehhhhh

Yep. The same Bill Polian that's in the HOF. Didn't have much luck as GM with his teams in the SB. Only 1-4 with his teams that played in the SB over the years.

Just reporting what he said---he did make a good argument that Foles is still a young QB who was an MVP and winner in the SB. That steep price is going to be what it will take a team to jump up to get a complete unknown college guy---why not the same for Foles??

yeah... I posted an innocent... Have a drink, have a smoke, and get laid response... but it got deleted without cause....
Mitch has been...uh..."sensitive" the past couple weeks... a drink, smoke, and piece of arse would do him justice...always works for me when I get edgy

if this board gets to the point where everything has to be submitted for approval,...well...I'm out, lol....and thats right where all that whiney **** will take us

We usually are in agreement oaken1 but on this one I'll disagree. I did see your post with the two photos before they were deleted---neither one belongs on a forum to discuss Cardinal football.

There are plenty of websites readily available for soft porn and drug use. Anyone who enjoys that is welcome to view that content there. Let's keep this forum a safe place for all---especially young kids---to view and talk about Cardinal football.

Probably the greatest GM in the history of the NFL imo. Polian is highly respected throughout the NFL & obviously he knows how to build rosters.

Turned the Bills into a powerhouse with a great roster!

Built an expansion Panthers team into to NFC champs!

Made Indy a juggernaut for 12 years.

20+ years of success with 3 different teams carries a lot of weight despite 1 Super Bowl. Sometimes unfortunate mistakes, other great teams & timing keeps teams from fulfilling the main goal.

Okay then, lets offer the Browns a 3rd, 4th, or 5th round pick for DeShone Kizer if we cant seem to get anyone decent at a price we can afford without giving away our future.

Scenario I can see happening. Eagles, aka Howie Roseman, could be comfortable with Wentz rehab and offer Foles as trade bait. If that happens he can grab a 2nd tier QB or believing in Sudfeld, in draft after picking up draft tokens with trade. Foles could hit the market and take some $$$$$ away from Cousins. Seems crazy that another team will come cdlose to what the Vikings gave up for Bradford.

Eagles have fielded - not solicited - more than one inquiry and offer for Nick Foles. Eagles' basic answer is it's going to take more than the 1st and 4th round picks they got from Vikings for Sam Bradford. Foles is Super Bowl MVP and best insurance policy in NFL.

He can stay an Eagle then. Who is going to give up a first and MORE for him? Not to mention he is going to want a new contract wherever he is traded to and that contract isn't going to be cheap.

I was willing to go as far as offering the #15 pick---so was Roy Green. But, anything beyond that is unacceptable. Like you, Zeno, it would be hard to fathom that the Eagles would get anything close to what they are asking, especially when Foles becomes a UFA next year.
