RG 3 in this offense would be the worst QB in the NFL. He can't throw from the pocket downfield

Change it. Seattle and Carolina is the future with the rules we have to play with. The pocket passer will soon be the thing of the past.

Have any of you been alive the past few years? You can't want a mentally stable QB and RGIII. Jesus people. Overreact to yourself lol.

3 of the 4 QB in the Conference Championships were pocket passers. Last years Super Bowl winner was a pocket passer...not to mention that Arians offense is built with the idea of a pocket passer, you'd have to change out the entire coaching staff to change the offense.

I'd rather they bring back Derek Anderson than that head case, who has ZERO ability to be a pocket passer.

Only because Wilson and Cam are both in the NFC. If people can't see what's coming than ok. 2 out of the last 3 supper bowls will be won by these guys and counting. It's the beginning of what's coming. IMO get on board or get left out. Tampa will be the next great team.

Cool it guys. CP won us more games than ever before, and had the lowest number of interceptions this season. You don't throw someone under the bus because he has a horrible game after leading you to the NFC championship game.

This was a telling game. What more proof do you need. Yes stick with Palmet ONE MORE YEAR. But get your next in line very VERY soon.

The FO needs to seriously start creating a plan to find Carsons replacement. I am fine with him as our starter next year even though I don't feel like he can lead us to the SB, but he just does not have a lot of years left.

Should have happened a year or two ago, Drew Stanton is not the future, I'm not even sure a better backup shouldn't have already been found.

They made a half assed attempt with Thomas. They really need to come up with a viable young accurate arm, who has good football IQ. It's possible, but wr will probably need to move in eithet the first or second round in the draft. They really can't wait for the right one to fall to our pick.

Tampa? Maybe. But Winston is a pocket passer first and foremost, he is just like Rodgers and Roethlisberger in that he is mobile when in trouble but not a running QB. He didn't even run much in college, less than 250 yards total in 2 seasons.

Every few years we hear that scrambling QBs are the way to go, Cunningham, Vick, Young, RG3, Kaepernick etc...but it always comes back to the pocket passer.

2 of 12 playoff teams had non traditional QBs.

I think RG III is also a headcase but he is a younger headcase. Palmer is 36 and there is no changing him. He's done mentally in terms of the NFL playoffs. He will never accomplish anything. At least with RG III we have seen he does have talent and can tear it up. Maybe BA can do something with that. He can't do anything with Palmer.

They got to try something. I don't want to see Palmer get hurt but they need to have plan 1a in place, and Stanton ain't it. Cheap flyer on former #1 isn't the worst case here. Point is yhey need to be pro active at the position!

Not just a guy that can only run. Lord man they have to be able to pass the ball. Give a young Vick today rules and look out. You're going to far back. I will take a Rogers type. Worthless ****** too. It's a mix. 1 is a great passer that can move the other is a great runner that can pass. We need one the whole league will be trading the farm for them. A CP QB type is the thing of the past.
