This is great news. So, what are the magic numbers now?

It seems that Colorado will very soon take the place of SD, thereby threatening to remove the DBacks from the playoffs altogether during the last series of the season - in Colorado. It is imperative that DBacks win 2 of 3 in Pittsburgh and pray that the Rockies lose at least one in their next series at LA. Otherwise, a sweep by the Rockies at the weeks end would be devastating - obviously. I am hoping that the Rockies string of fortune is about to run out. But playing at Coors field for a playoff spot is not my idea of fun.

As mentioned in the magic number thread, the Rocks can top out at 90 wins. If the DBacks sweep the Bucs, it is over no matter what the Rockies do. That needs to be the focus...
