Report earlier this month that the Giants were going to move DRC to safety:

Now, it appears DRC balked at a pay cut and got released:

Plenty of other younger DBs on the market---he was due 6.5 mil and refused a pay cut.

The #Giants decided to release CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie today, source confirmed (as @JordanRaanan said). They tried to move him to safety and asked him to take a large paycut. Instead, he is being released and wants to play as an outside CB once again.
I'd go after him for the typical one year Keim contract deal.

Two year deal... those one 'prove it' deals have only proven to me we seldom accept the proof, we will then have two 'soft' corners I can appreciate without our annual what are we going to do for our number two

The Cards could use some younger players on the team. DRC is on the wrong side of the NFL time clock IMO for the cardinals.

He’s gotten better against the runbut worse against the pass. I’d prefer Run DMC.
