Farhan Zaidi begins his second offseason with San Francisco with a daunting to-do list. The Giants' president of baseball operations addressed the challenges a team in transition faces at a season-ending news conference Tuesday. The Giants, who just finished their third straight losing season, have had most of this year to plan for the retirement of Bruce Bochy, the likely future Hall of Fame manager who led the team to three World Series titles in 13 years in San Francisco.
