Giants gave too much

Ponson is a nice pickup for the Giants but I think they gave too much to get him. I doubt the Giants will re-sign Ponson after this year because he is asking way too much so it's like they got him for a 2-month rental, just like the Diamondbacks did with Mondesi.

Oh yeah, and it was just like 1.5 years ago that Ainsworth was the jewel of the Giants minor league system.....yeah right

I'm sure the Gnats feel they have a shot at the WS this year, and if 2-month rent-a-pitcher Ponson gives them an added post season edge, it's worth it.
