It would be nice if you mentioned other things though too. I bet you would secretly wish for King to play the whole year, have wonderful stats but have our defense suck and lose more games than we will this year if it meant your man King looked good... What do you care more about... King or the team?

no - but YOU HAVEN'T MENTIONED ANYTHING ELSE!

Look - you're obviously not a Cardinal fan - you're a Shawn King (which I actually think is even sadder than being a Cardinal fan) - so it makes sense that all you post about is the QB position even though they guy you love so much was benched in Tampa and the team then went on to win the Super Bowl and now is playing for a coach who has shown throughout his entire career impatience with QB's, yet you're guy still isn't playing (maybe you might want to think about that, his benching in Tampa and the very blatant fact that NO ONE ELSE WANTING HIM AS THEIR STARTER AS A QB IN FREE AGENCY) - but you'll have to forgive us if we think it's really annoying.

I don't buy it - you can't become a Cardinal fan inherently wishing for one of the players to fail - especially the QB because you're favorite QB is playing behind him. That is no way to start rooting for a team.

I know, although I'm kind of hoping in the back of my head that McCown has a horrible half where he throws several interceptions in a game we would have lost anyways and it gives an opening to a new QB to try out.. Does that make me a bad person? I even hope more that the light switch will all of a sudden come on and he'll kick ass but I'm very doubtful of that... I think either my first suggestion will happen or he'll play just well enough not to get benched (no interceptions, one td, about 100 yds throwing) and he'll lose a couple critical games for us at the end of the year...

I said in the preseason that the Cardinals would have a good offense and be playoff contenders this year when Boldin got healthy, Shelton was moved back to the starting lineup, and King was moved to the starting line up because McCown couldn't see the whole field. I spent the preseason talking about how Emmitt Smith still had gas in the tank. With the exception of Shelton, no one agreed with me on any of that then. All of those things happened, except for the QB switch, thus why I'm still talking about it.

I stand by what I said in the preseason, and as soon as I'm wrong about something, please feel free to note that as well.

Additionally, please feel free to put me on ignore, or just don't bother to read my posts if you want. But do yourself a favor and try not to put down King in an effort to refute my posts. If you don't want one of those QBs that no one wants I guess you don't want Drew Brees either.....

Who cares what I think about King, and why does that have anything to do with my analysis of McCown? Green's mysterious thing for McCown despite his continued poor play is by itself an issue that should be discussed on a Cardinals football board. It has nothing to do with King, nor will you find that I have mentioned him in any discussion about McCown. So quit crying like a baby.
