He won't fly, so most of his coaching would have to be via cellphone from his bus as he commutes to the next game location.

I like Madden because of his football knowledge, he's one of the few announcers I can stomach.

The Cards would be the elite team in Madden '08, at least.

Plus he would make cool sound effects when Q breaks a tackle or shoves a DB to the ground.

Hey at this point, the cellphone works for me. I really don't see Green doing anything worthwhile on the sidelines any way.

We could place a cutout of Madden on the sidelines. Over by the players we could place a flat screen monitor. Madden could do his marker crap and the players could follow. Would be easier for the players to understand as it would be more communication than they get today.

if everyone thinks art shells is out of date, what do you think madden is when he use to coach art shell. i am sure everyone going to say he been in the both watching football for all these years. the reality of it is he is in his 70's and he would die of heart failure before the season was over with the stress that the hc job comes with. truthfully most of the people out their think that madden is a joke.

Anyone that thinks John Madden is a joke knows very little about football. He was one of the best and brightest coaches ever.

Here is a little information regarding Madden from his Hall of Fame bio:
His .759 winning percentage during regular season ranks as highest ever among coaches with 100 career victories. . .One of youngest head coaches in history when Raiders hired him in 1969 at age 32. . .AFL Coach of the Year, 1969. . .Under Madden, Oakland never suffered losing record. . .Led Raiders to Super Bowl XI. . .Team won 17 straight games between 1976-1977
