We will regret passing on all these guys. I will always be a fan of this team but cardinals fans need to grow a backbone. So many people on here saying we need to believe in the team and FO. They know much better than us. Give me a break. 7 years Keim has controlled the draft and he has been abysmal. I could literally go back and most players i would have taken in spots where Keim took someone else have been better.

And before you criticize me, I'm sure I don't make as much money as most on here. Its a decent wage for someone my age but nowhere near the throwaway money some of you probably have, but i buy a jersey every year, fork up a bunch of cash to go to multiple games every year. Basically pump a ton of money into this franchise.

But honestly go ahead ban me for this rant but I've invested so much time money and complete devotion for this team. When all the other kids laughed cuz i chose the cardinals as my team. The team my family and grandfather chose (the only real father figure I've ever had in my life) the cardinals. When most kids took the easy way out with the cowboys, 49ers and Steelers. I stayed loyal to my state and my team.

I truly feel for you guys that have been following longer than me, waiting for that day of validation. I hope one day it will come, but to me doesn't seem anywhere in our near future.

Hope im wrong doubt I am though. Oh and don't be so shocked when Rosen turns out better than Murray.

What makes you so certain about that list of guys? Every year there are a bunch of "can't miss" prospects that don't pan out in the NFL and some of the names you listed will almost certainly fall into that same category. All that really matters from this draft is whether or not Murray ends up being a good QB because if he does than the Cardinals will be successful and no one will remember much else about the draft.

Look. There are reasons 1st round picks don’t excel yet a 5 th round pick goes to the pro bowl. Not even the best talent evaluator will be right on all his evaluations. I sure there are names on the list that are going to be everything from great to disappointment. Unfortunately our 10 picks aren’t all in the first round. Hehasrosen, let it all sink in and let’s see how this all unfolds. Some will make it and some won’t. Let’s just hope more make it than don’t.

better idea:

just pick the one you would have taken each round. for example: Bosa or Williams ?-- because the Cards were never having both.

that next group: which one? Because all but Metcalf were gone by the bottom of the 2nd ( with the benefit of hindsight to see Metcalf lasting to the third IIRC)

you cant throw out multiple guys on each pick and then go back three years from now and cherrypick the one that really worked and ignore the rest.

Look at at the 2016 draft and you will see the vast majority if those players didnt make it or arent good players.

My breakdown of your list cynically:

1. Q William's becomes a good, not great lineman. 6 sacks per year, good against the run, but not a must have player. Makes a few pro bowls, but isnt as good once he gets his first big contract.

2. Bosa becomes a good overall lineman, but struggles to get to the QB at times. His lack of elite burst relegates him to the good, but elite DE status. 8-10 sacks per year.

3. Deebo injury prone like college, good when he plays but misses 4 games a season.

4. DK Metcalf. Bust. Teams press him and his lack of lateral quickness dooms him.

5. Greedy William's. Awful run defender. Awful. People complain about PP21s run defense but this guy isnt even close to PP21.

6. Rock Ya Sin. Straight up bust. Lacks long speed and gets burned routinely.

7. Cody Ford. Cant play tackle and struggles mightily against speed rushers

8. Dalton Risner. Cant play tackle, sucks at guard.

This is how it's most likely to work out.
