They showed some replays where Favre was getting drilled after handoffs....I am not a fan of Favre but the Vikings are 40 times better. The saints are a joke...and they are classless.....Really....They got every call in that game...I mean ever close call went there way..
I think the NFL and the President wanted this Katrina hit city to win to restore hope...But to me the NFL is fixed.....Way to many bad calls in this game and inconsistant calls for me as a fan of niether to feel good.
1) It's called playing hard. The Saints were aggressive and deserved to win this game. I did not think they played dirty.
2) I'll guarantee the President is more worried about healthcare, terrorism, the economy than who wins the NFCC game.
3) If the NFL was fixed and wanted to fix it so the Saints were in the Super Bowl they probably would have done so back in 2008 when the Saints played the Bears when the Saints took the NFL by storm and EVERYONE was cheering for them.
4) I can not think of a better representive for the NFC. They Saints are a class team led by one of the classiest guys in all of professional sports and deserve to be in the Super Bowl.
5) I was in New Orleans in June. It is booming again and outside of the 9th Ward you would never have guessed a hurricane of that magnitude hit the area (at least from what I saw). Point being it is a great story, but New Orleans no longer needs the Saints to restore hope to the city.
6) They have the BEST uniforms in the NFL.
7) This team has been through hell throughout their franchise history, much like the Cards. I would think we can all relate to how the Saints and their fans feel right now and will be cheering the Saints on in two Sundays.
