Yeah, the Globes are always a joke when it comes to who/what/where something is nominated.

The major awards just don't have much of a basis in reality, IMO. They like the movie, but god forbid they nominate, let alone vote, a genre movie for best picture or anything! It'll be impossible to take seriously as long as these kinds of crusty opinions permeate the industry, and I don't think it's going to go away any time soon.
