Last year of his deal. Going into his age 31 season.

Seems like interested teams would be mainly looking for a rental or extended audition with a strong feeling they can re-sign next year

It sounds like it is going to cost a lot to get him.:-/

If the Cards are going to trade for a WR, it needs to be a young guy. Somebody mentioned Davante Parker earlier. He’d be a guy I’d consider.

The problem is Dallas skewed the asking price for such guys by giving Oakland a #1 for Cooper.

The Cardinals are not looking at the playoffs. They need to look towards the future.

Kirk is a carbon copy of Tate. Was my pro comparison for him when we drafted him because their size and style are the same.

Agreed. Getting real tired of Ricky Seals Jones....He sucks...

Coulda/shoulda drafted George Kittle in rd 5 of 2017 draft (vs Dorian Johnson or Will Holden). Instead...we paid Gresham 7m/year.

700k for a young TE that will most likely have a 1,000 yard season or 7m for garbage (penalties and dumb decisions).

That is one of the ways you end up sucking so badly.

I have eaten crow for wanting to draft Chad Kelly in the late rounds (and many other decisions) but here is one I got right: :)

Hell no.

We need a big receiver that draws attention

Plus Tate likes to hit on his teammates wives. Scumbags aren’t gonna help

we need to acquire picks, not send them away.

we shouldnt trade for anybody over 24 and it least two years remaining on their contracts

if we are gonna trade,...trade away the age...and we dont have much of that

Tate would have no place on this team. Larry is already taking the slot away from Kirk, who I would imagine will be moving there next year. We need a big, young, talented outside receiver to pair with Kirk underneath. Is that too much to ask?

Great pickup for the Eagles though,

I love that Sallad gave up a first round pick for Cooper while they could've picked up Thomas and Tate for a combined 3rd and 4th round picks.
