My Dad and I were having this conversation the other day about how lucky we have been in the Phoenix sports market the past few years. We had Nash who was always classy and obviously we've had Larry who is as good and as nice as it gets and now we have Goldy in baseball. Same kind of guy. No flash just does what he does (at the highest level in the sport) and is a great person.

We are so lucky to have Goldy and I am really happy that the team finally started spending some money to get some guys around him and give us a chance. I was dreading the day he inevitably got lured to the Yankees, which still may happen someday, but for now I will just enjoy it.
