Everett Golson looked as if he had been running Florida State's offense for three years instead of less than three months. In his debut for the 10th-ranked Seminoles, the graduate transfer from Notre Dame threw for four touchdown passes in a 59-16 victory over Texas State on Saturday night. Golson, who got his degree from Notre Dame in May and arrived at Florida State a couple months later, was 19 for 25 for 302 yards, marking the seventh 300-yard passing game of his career.
