Good Charlotte have one less model for their clothing line. Drummer Chris Wilson has left the band due to undisclosed "personal health problems."
A letter on the band's website reads, "As many of you know, [Wilson] has been on and off the road due to personal health problems. Unfortunately, his problems continue, and we have made a collective decision to have Chris stay around his friends and family and begin to truly rehabilitate. This has not been easy on any of us. We loved playing with Chris so much. We hope everyone will be respectful and understand the situation and pray that Chris gets better."
Wilson played with a little-known Good Charlotte when they were newcomers on the Warped Tour. Though he didn't drum on the band's breakthrough 2002 album, he did play on their newest release, 2004's The Chronicles Of Life And Death. However, he missed numerous shows, including one in New York when he was allegedly at home, "receiving therapy on his joints," MTV.com reports.
The band have decided to soldier on and continue with their forthcoming Noise To The World tour. Wilson will be replaced by Dean Butterworth (who played with Morrissey), but it is unknown if he will become a permanent member of Good Charlotte.
There are no Canadian dates for the tour.
